The Scarpa Mont Blanc Pro GTX is the lightest and most insulating boot in the Mont Blanc line, built for technical high-altitude mountaineering and mixed ice climbing. Its automatic crampon compatibility and GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane make it the go-to tool for climbers who refuse to compromise on precision or thermal protection in the harshest conditions.
Lightness and insulation for high altitude
At an approximate weight of 900 g per boot (size 42), the Mont Blanc Pro GTX balances lightness with thermal protection through its GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort lining, keeping the foot dry and warm through long days at altitude.
Wrapping Sock-Fit XT fit
The Sock-Fit XT system wraps the foot like a sock, while the waterproof elastic collar with an EXO-YS injected TPU structure provides ankle support without limiting mobility. The quick bi-component hardware closure allows precise adjustments even with gloves on.
Traction and automatic crampon compatibility
The Vibram® Essential AC/Mont outsole offers a low profile that improves sensitivity on rock and ice, while the full perimeter rand shields the boot from impact and abrasion. It's compatible with automatic and semi-automatic crampons, ideal for safely progressing on vertical ice and technical mixed terrain.
