TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Cabrio (three-piece construction) - Dalbello's signature build system, splitting the boot into shell, cuff, and an independent Powercage tongue instead of a traditional two-piece shell. This layout spreads flex evenly along the whole cuff and cushions impacts better, avoiding localized pressure points. The result is a more progressive, consistent flex feel on every turn, while also making the boot much easier to step into and out of.
• Powercage - the milled outer shell design Dalbello uses on its Panterra models to redistribute energy optimally across the whole boot. By removing material from non-structural areas, it cuts overall weight without compromising torsional stiffness or lateral stability. Skiers transmit power to the ski more directly without carrying unnecessary weight on their feet.
• Variable Volume Fit (VVF) - Dalbello's technology for changing the last width between 100 and 102 mm simply by closing the forefoot buckle into a different notch. Once the desired volume is set, the boot can be put on and taken off day to day using only the remaining three buckles, with no need to readjust the VVF each time. It gives skiers the ability to match the last to their foot shape without needing a bootfitter.
• Dynalink Heel Retention System - a closure system that connects the instep buckle directly to the heel area through an internal band. This directed tension keeps the heel from lifting or the foot from sliding forward inside the boot during flex, a common issue with conventional fits. The result is much more precise ski control, especially noticeable in tight turns and on uneven terrain.
• GripWalk soles (ISO 23223) and hike mode - curved, non-slip soles pre-mounted at the factory and certified under the ISO 23223 standard, improving grip when walking on hard or icy surfaces. Combined with the cuff's ski/hike mechanism, they unlock up to 51° of range of motion for comfortable off-slope movement. It's a solution built for skiers who need to walk short distances without changing footwear or losing safety.
• My Fit System and Instant Fit (IF) Performer liner - the combination of a pre-molded Contour 4 shell and a heat-moldable liner that Dalbello offers across much of its Panterra range. By warming the liner for a few minutes in-store, a bootfitter can shape it to the skier's exact foot anatomy, correcting pressure points without changing size or model. This means a far more personalized fit from the very first use, with further improvement after each heat-molding session.
• Micro-adjustable aluminum buckles - the boot's 4 closure buckles, made of lightweight aluminum with micrometric adjustment via a simple turn, letting skiers fine-tune pressure without tools. The forefoot buckle features an inverted design that closes over the shell rather than to the side, reducing the risk of breakage or snagging during rail slides, grinds, or falls. Together they ensure a firm, durable closure on every ski session.
