The La Sportiva Prodigio Pro is the most advanced and aggressive race model in the Prodigio line, built for athletes chasing maximum speed and elite performance in ultramarathons and long-distance trail running. With an integrated carbon plate and a highly responsive XFlow Speed™ midsole, it converts every stride into forward propulsion without giving up the protection needed on outings beyond 50 km.

Power Wire upper and Wrapping System for a precision fit
The lightweight, breathable Power Wire upper is constructed from highly resistant woven TPU filaments that help store energy and transfer it from heel to toe during the stride. The Wrapping System hugs the foot with a snug, precise Race Fit, while the knit ankle collar and textile neck keep out stones, sand and vegetation debris without generating excessive heat on long-duration races.

Carbon plate and XFlow Speed™ midsole
The carbon plate, engineered with some lateral flex to avoid compromising stability on uneven terrain while retaining longitudinal stiffness that catapults toe-off, is the heart of this race shoe. The XFlow Speed™ midsole, made from 100% recycled materials with nitrogen infusion in both the TPU core and the supercritical EVA layer, delivers a level of rebound and impact absorption that reduces muscle fatigue during the decisive stages of a race.

FriXion® White outsole and lateral metatarsal protection
The FriXion® White outsole, La Sportiva's most grippy compound, guarantees secure traction on both wet rock and loose stone, with redesigned 4mm lugs improving grip in variable conditions. Protective rubber side panels at the metatarsal level increase stability and protect the midfoot, delivering confidence on the most demanding sections of the route.
