TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• GORE-TEX®: ePTFE membrane with approximately 1.3 million micropores per cm², 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but permeable to perspiration vapour. It blocks liquid water through surface pressure differential and allows vapour evacuation during exertion, ensuring durable waterproofing across multi-day outings.
• 4D advancedCHASSIS™: Plastic chassis integrated into the outsole with a three-dimensional geometry operating across 4 planes simultaneously: lateral stability, torsion absorption on technical descents, and fluid movement during toe-off. Allows natural metatarsal flex while restricting involuntary ankle movement on uneven terrain.
• EnergyCell™: High-performance EVA foam with an optimised formulation for impact absorption over long distances. Its closed-cell structure cushions heel impact on loaded descents with a heavy pack, maintaining consistent cushioning throughout extended days on the trail.
• Nubuck leather: Full-grain leather treated by surface abrasion to create a velvety texture with greater abrasion resistance than smooth leather, better grip on irregular surfaces, and better retention of waterproofing agents. Its compact fibre structure delivers superior durability over synthetic materials in intensive use.
• sensiFIT™: Construction that wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, distributing lacing pressure evenly around the foot for a secure, comfortable, virtually customisable fit. Reduces pressure points on long days with a heavy pack.
• All Terrain contaGRIP®: Medium-hardness rubber compound with omnidirectionally oriented lugs for reliable traction on wet, dry, hard, or slippery surfaces. The formulation prioritises durability in intensive long-distance use.
