EXO system and ergonomic fit
The Rapid LT features Scarpa's EXO system, an exoskeleton of thermobonded lateral reinforcements that support and lock in the foot, improving protection without compromising mobility. The ARSAX last, with a wide, ergonomic toe, follows the natural conformation of the foot, while the extended to-the-toe lacing system delivers a precise fit and exceptional comfort during extended wear.
Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with climbing zone
The Agility XT outsole in Vibram® MegaGrip compound combines a dedicated climbing zone at the toe with a rear braking system, delivering exceptional friction and traction on both wet rock and loose dirt. The 3D TPU insert in the medial zone adds extra stability and excellent grip during traverses, while the 3.5mm lugs strike a balance between sensitivity and durability for all types of approaches.
Lightweight, protective construction
The polyester mesh upper with TPU overlays delivers breathability on the side panels without compromising abrasion resistance. The rubber toe guard absorbs impacts against rocks, while the 2D EVA-CM midsole and TPU-insert insole provide cushioning and stability throughout the mountain day.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- EXO system: An exoskeleton of thermobonded lateral reinforcements applied directly onto the upper. It supports and locks in the foot on technical footholds, improving overall protection without reducing mobility or adding significant weight.
- Vibram® MegaGrip: A high-performance rubber compound developed by Vibram, renowned for excellent friction on both wet rock and loose surfaces while maintaining a high level of durability.
- Agility XT: An outsole design combining a dedicated climbing zone at the toe, optimised for precision on easy climbing holds, with a rear braking system for safe control on descents.
- 3D medial TPU insert: A structural reinforcement placed in the midfoot area, adding extra stability and improving lateral grip during traverses on technical, uneven terrain.
- ARSAX last: An ergonomic last with a wide toe box designed to follow the natural conformation of the foot, delivering a comfortable, precise fit even during long days of continuous use.
