The Fischer RC 85 W is an alpine ski boot built for skiers with wider feet who want comfort without complications. Its wide (HV) last offers plenty of room for wider feet, while the Floating Entry Flap and the Higher Instep and Higher Toebox technologies make it easy to put on and take off in any condition, reducing pressure points from the very first wear.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Floating Entry Flap - This is the entry element built into the cuff that ensures easy entry and exit from the boot in any condition. Whether the material is cold or the foot has a high instep, the system opens without resistance to ease entry. It's especially useful on very cold days when other boots tend to stiffen up when putting them on.
• Higher Toebox - This is the extended toe design that provides more volume in the toe area compared to a conventional last. This extra space reduces pressure points and friction during long days, also promoting better circulation and thermal insulation for the foot. It's paired with the wide (HV) last for a comfortable fit from the first use.
• Higher Instep - This is the design that provides more volume in the instep area, avoiding the tightness some feet with a high instep experience. It significantly eases entry and exit from the boot without needing to loosen the upper buckles excessively. Together with the Floating Entry Flap, it contributes to quicker, more comfortable boot-up on every outing.
• TPU (Thermoshape Polyurethane) - This is the material used in the boot's shell, considered a benchmark in top-performance products for its superior energy-transfer properties compared to polyamide or polypropylene blends. Thanks to these rebound and energy-transfer characteristics, the thermoplastic material delivers a more direct skiing experience. It also maintains consistent behavior through temperature changes.
