The Scarpa Ribelle TRK GTX is a multi-use boot built for via ferrata, long treks, and backpacking expeditions, extending the DNA of the Ribelle family — synonymous with fast and light mountaineering — into the world of hiking. The result is a comfortable trekking boot with a structure that contains and protects the foot on long walks in low and mid-mountain terrain, without giving up the dynamism and lightness the brand is known for.
Sock-Fit DV and climbing-inspired lacing
The Sock-Fit DV construction system wraps the foot like a sock, achieving a natural, ergonomic fit without uncomfortable pressure points. The Extended Lacing system, directly inspired by climbing footwear, extends to the toe through metal eyelets, allowing total customisation of fit volume. The iconic TPU band of the Ribelle family runs around the boot, providing protection and containment against impacts from stones and roots.
GORE-TEX ePTFE and TPU stability
The GORE-TEX ePTFE membrane delivers long-lasting comfort alongside waterproof, breathable protection: sweat evaporates easily, keeping the foot dry and comfortable. A TPU stabiliser in the midsole delivers great walking stability, while the dual-density PU midsole offers remarkable cushioning — greater than other Ribelle models more geared towards technical mountaineering — without transmitting leg fatigue, even on long-distance days.
Roll Trk outsole with dynamic rocker
The Roll Trk outsole differs from the family's mountaineering model by being specifically designed for trekking and via ferrata use: it's softer, forgoes crampon compatibility, and prioritises lightness and walkability. Its Vibram compound, developed together with Scarpa, features a variable pattern with a push-off zone at the toe, a braking zone under the forefoot, and a maximum-grip zone, while the pronounced rocker facilitates the natural roll of the foot with every step, saving energy on longer days.

- Vibram® variable compound: An outsole developed specifically with Scarpa featuring a pattern differentiated by zone: push-off at the toe, braking under the forefoot, and maximum grip across the rest of the footprint, optimising performance at every phase of the step.
