The Scarpa Rush TRK GTX dials up the support and protection of the Rush family, with a suede leather upper backed by GORE-TEX®. It blends the sturdiness of a trekking boot with the agility of a lightweight mountain shoe, delivering confidence and stability on both single-day hikes and multi-day loaded treks.
Perwanger® suede with GORE-TEX® protection
At an approximate weight of 555 g per boot (size 42), the Rush TRK GTX features a 1.7-1.9 mm Perwanger® suede upper, water-resistant, breathable and durable. The GORE-TEX® ePE membrane keeps the foot dry while quickly dispersing heat and sweat.
Wrapping fit and DST Frame stability
The Autofit 3D collar, in padded stretch fabric, stabilises the foot without creating pressure points and moves with the ankle. The DST (Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion) frame delivers rear-foot stability and torsion control, ideal for uneven terrain with a loaded pack.
IKS cushioning and PRESA® SuperGum traction
The PRESA® TRK-01 outsole, in Scarpa's high-grip SuperGum compound, features IKS (Interactive Kinetic System) technology with 7 cushioning domes that progressively support body weight with every step. The pronounced heel lug promotes braking on descents and grip on climbs.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- GORE-TEX® ePE: Waterproof, highly breathable membrane laminated onto an abrasion-resistant, quick-drying outer fabric, protecting the foot from water while promoting sweat evaporation.
- PRESA® TRK-01 (SuperGum): Scarpa's in-house outsole with a high-grip compound, a pronounced heel lug and a trekking-oriented design that optimises uphill grip and downhill braking.
- IKS (Interactive Kinetic System): Technology with 7 cushioning domes spread across the forefoot and heel, progressively and locally supporting body weight through each stride.
- DST Frame: TPU frame (Dynamic Stabilizer Torsion) that wraps the heel on both sides, delivering rear-foot stability and torsion control on uneven terrain.
- Autofit 3D collar: Stretch fabric and moulded foam collar that stabilises the foot and wraps the ankle without pressure points, improving comfort on long days.
- Low-density EVA inserts: Dedicated cushioning elements at the heel and forefoot, softer than the main midsole, adding an extra layer of responsiveness and comfort in high-impact zones.
