All orders will be shipped to the address indicated by the buyer. The order will be processed once payment has been made and payment confirmed. Shipments will be made daily, except on non-working days.

The order will be received at its destination under the following terms:

Spain and Portugal:

For shipments within the Peninsula, the order will be delivered by a courier company (SEUR or MRW) within 48-72 hours after payment confirmation from the bank (always considering working days and excluding local or national holidays in both the sending and receiving countries).

Shipping costs are automatically calculated through the website based on the destination country and will be detailed during the order process.

Eco-friendly R-PET belt sheath. Made from shredded bottles, 100% recycled PET, and regenerated leather obtained from scraps of fur factories.

The blade tip is rounded for greater safety. It's also ideal for spreading.

Martensitic Stainless Steel

Hardness 55-57 HRC. European origin.

The stainless steel used in OPINEL rackets is an optimized grade to guarantee both high corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance.

The blade has an excellent edge and high abrasion resistance, allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before needing to be resharpened. Stainless steel has the advantage of requiring no maintenance under normal use, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when exposed to an aggressive environment for extended periods (acid, salt water, detergent, etc.).

Handle

Beech is the most commonly used wood for Opinel handles. PEFC certified, it comes from sustainably managed forests in the Jura and Vercors regions. It is hard, durable, and easy to work. Its appearance is uniform, with a light color ranging from yellow to pink. It is recognizable by the presence of numerous small dark lines. The handle is varnished to protect it from moisture and dirt.

Safety Ring

Invented by Marcel Opinel, the Virobloc safety ring is found on all folding knives from size No. 6 onwards. Made of stainless steel, the Virobloc consists of two parts: a fixed part and a sliding part. In addition to locking the blade in the open position (safety of use), it also allows the blade to be locked in the closed position (safe transport).
