Durable nubuck leather and climbing-derived lacing system
The nubuck leather upper offers excellent abrasion resistance and a secure foot hold throughout the route, while the integrated protective fabric at the heel guarantees great durability against wear. The climbing-derived lacing system allows for optimal internal volume adjustment, with a heel pull loop for easy entry and convenient lace-end storage. Reinforcements and stone protection provide effective defence against terrain obstacles.
Climbing Zone and Resole Platform™ for maximum durability
The large Climbing Zone at the toe guarantees precision and excellent grip while climbing and on the most delicate passages, without sacrificing walking stability. The special midsole with the patented Resole Platform™ insert allows the TX4 Evo to be resoled without affecting its technical characteristics or comfort, extending its life cycle and avoiding waste. The OrthoLite® Hybrid footbed, made with 20% recycled materials, adapts with different thicknesses according to the average user weight.
Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with Impact Brake System™
The Vibram® MegaGrip compound tread and the patented Impact Brake System™ block structure always guarantee maximum stability on descents and perfect traction control on ascents. The compression EVA foam midsole effectively absorbs impact waves, while the non-slip rubber sole delivers exemplary grip on both dry and wet surfaces.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Nubuck leather: Full-grain leather with a surface-buffed finish for a suede-like texture. Unlike suede, which comes from the inner split of the hide, nubuck is made from the tougher outer layer, resulting in superior durability and natural abrasion resistance. It moulds progressively to the shape of the foot with use.
- Climbing Zone: Large reinforced toe area guaranteeing precision and excellent grip while climbing, allowing precise placements on small holds and delicate technical passages without compromising overall shoe stability.
- Impact Brake™ System: Innovative system applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, aids traction and retains grip on descents. Conceived and developed by La Sportiva®'s R&D department in collaboration with Vibram®, it reduces negative ground impact thanks to the specific lug angle.
- Vibram® MegaGrip: High-performance rubber compound ensuring perfect grip on all surfaces, both dry and wet, offering exemplary durability.
- Resole Platform™: Patented midsole insert allowing the shoe to be resoled by replacing only the tread with original La Sportiva components, extending the shoe's life cycle without affecting its technical performance.
- OrthoLite® Hybrid: Footbed made with 20% recycled materials from the manufacturing cycle, with different thicknesses and materials according to average user weight to maximise comfort, ventilation and moisture evacuation.
