TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• GORE-TEX®: ePTFE membrane with approximately 1.3 million micropores per cm², 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but permeable to perspiration vapour. It blocks liquid water through surface pressure differential while evacuating vapour generated during exertion, guaranteeing durable waterproofing day after day.
• Leather + synthetic upper: The combination of full-grain leather with strategic synthetic reinforcements multiplies the shoe's service life versus textile versions: leather withstands repeated abrasion against rock edges and dense vegetation better, retains maintenance waterproofing agents, and develops a characteristic patina with prolonged use.
• 3D advancedCHASSIS™: Low-profile plastic chassis encapsulated between the outsole and midsole with three-dimensional geometry. Acts as a selective torsion frame: rigid longitudinally to limit excessive flex on technical descents, and flexible transversally to allow natural adaptation to ground irregularities, reducing joint fatigue on long days.
• EnergyCell™+: High-density EVA compound optimised to maximise energy return at each compression/decompression cycle. The "+" version increases resilience over standard EnergyCell, with greater shape-recovery capacity after repeated impacts.
• All-Terrain contaGRIP®: Medium-hardness rubber compound with 3.5 mm omnidirectionally oriented lugs, designed for the widest spectrum of surfaces and prioritising durability in intensive long-distance use over mixed terrain.
