The Salomon XA Pro V8 Mid CSWP J is a mid-cut boot for children and teenagers based on the popular XA Pro 3D trail running shoe. With a fresh look and truly practical adjustments, this updated model delivers all the grip, stability and waterproof protection that young feet need to experience outdoor adventures and wild mountain sensations.
Grip and protection on any terrain
The All Terrain Contagrip® outsole combines powerful grip and a durable compound for reliable traction on any surface, whether wet, dry, hard or slippery. The lug design with specific orientations for traction and braking zones also allows efficient mud evacuation. The mid-cut design protects the ankle, and the reinforced toe cap guards the toe zone against impacts from rocks and roots.
Waterproof and breathable
The waterproof membrane keeps feet dry in wet conditions, while the water-repellent treated outer fabric prevents water absorption during light rain and showers. The mud guard wraps around the sole with synthetic material and rubber, protecting the sides against splashes and muddy terrain. The gusseted tongue prevents debris and small stones from entering.
Comfortable and practical fit
The SensiFit™ construction, drawing on Salomon's trail running expertise, wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system for a snug and comfortable fit that adapts to every foot shape. The Quicklace™ system allows the boot to be put on and adjusted with a single pull, ultra-practical for younger adventurers. The EnergyCell™ high-performance EVA foam midsole cushions impacts step by step, and the die-cut OrthoLite® insole delivers superior cushioning and breathability.
