The Scarpa Booster is a high-performance climbing shoe built for precision sport climbing and bouldering. Its highly asymmetric, downturned shape paired with the Vibram® XS Grip2 outsole delivers pinpoint edging on small holds without giving up the sensitivity needed for smearing and steep overhangs.

Aggressive last and PAF System heel
The asymmetric, downturned shape with a medium-to-high angled toe box concentrates power on the big toe to maximise support on small holds. The PAF System heel construction improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon.

Wrapping fit with DTS – Differentiated Tension System
The multi-layer microfibre upper closes with a dual Velcro strap combined with the DTS system, which adapts to the foot's dynamic movement, concentrating tension toward the big toe without losing precision in the fit.

Vibram® XS Grip2 outsole and Flexan midsole
The 3.5 mm Vibram® XS Grip2 outsole, spread across the front third of the foot, is paired with a minimal Flexan midsole insert that prioritises sensitivity without sacrificing precision on rock or resin.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• DTS – Differentiated Tension System: Adapts to the foot's dynamic movement, concentrating force toward the big toe without interfering with the fit, supporting optimal power distribution and precision.
• PAF System: Heel construction method that improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon via a softer rubber "bridge" connecting the two sides of the tension system.
• Flexan midsole: Minimal insert that optimises sensitivity, with support strips running the length of the foot.
• Vibram® XS Grip2: Evolution of the Vibram® XS Grip compound, with improved grip and compactness, ideal for edging on moderately inclined holds with consistent performance across temperatures.
• M50 Rubber: The softest compound in the Scarpa range, developed with Davos®, rated Shore A 50 for high wrapping ability; used on the toe cap, SRT system and targeted upper areas.
• Resoleable: Can be resoled at official Scarpa resole centres, extending the shoe's lifespan.
