- Foundation (1950): Humanic begins producing ski boots in the Austrian Alps, laying the foundation for the independent brand.
- Pin Binding Revolution (1984): Fritz Barthel invents the pin binding system ("pin bindings" or Tech bindings). This mechanism eliminated the heavy frame of traditional bindings, connecting the boot to the ski with direct metal inserts. It changed ski mountaineering forever.
