Historical Milestones and Contributions
- Foundation (1950): Humanic begins producing ski boots in the Austrian Alps, laying the foundation for the independent brand.
- Pin Binding Revolution (1984): Fritz Barthel invents the pin binding system ("pin bindings" or Tech bindings). This mechanism eliminated the heavy frame of traditional bindings, connecting the boot to the ski with direct metal inserts. It changed ski mountaineering forever.
- Seasonal Expansion: To equip mountain athletes "365 days a year," the brand brought its lightweight engineering to the summer market with technical running shoes, aerodynamic technical clothing, and hydration packs.
