The Scarpa Cyclone-S GTX is a mid-cut trekking boot built to handle demanding mountain trails with maximum comfort and protection. Its Perwanger® suede leather upper with water-repellent treatment combines with a special injected polyurethane foam sole that acts as both cushioning and side protection, while the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane keeps the interior dry and delivers perfect foot thermoregulation in any weather condition.
Wraparound fit with extended lacing
The ergonomic collar wraps around the ankle following its natural movement, providing support without restricting freedom of movement on technical terrain. The lacing extends down to the toe, allowing full customisation of fit along the entire length of the foot, while a strategic reinforcement improves durability in the highest-tension area during continuous use.
Dual-density midsole and Shell Trek outsole
The PU midsole, injected directly onto the upper, combines two densities: a first low-density injection that absorbs impact, and a second medium-to-high-density injection providing support and stability on uneven footholds. The Shell Trek outsole, made with Vibram® compound rubber and Scarpa's exclusive design, features a flex point that promotes a dynamic, natural gait even on long days with sustained elevation change.
Protection and durability for the mountains
The 3D anti-torsion polypropylene insert in the footbed provides structural rigidity without excessively penalising overall flexibility. The rubber-reinforced toe protects the foot against rock impacts, while the reinforced heel and pull tabs make both protection and putting the boot on easier — even when in a hurry or in cold conditions.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
