GENERATOR

The Scarpa Generator is a climbing shoe developed over more than two years of research, built specifically for crack climbing, multi-pitch routes and big walls. Its near-flat, comfortable last allows extended use without giving up the precision demanded by the Vibram® XS Edge outsole on small footholds.

Laces and PAF System heel built for cracks
The lacing system is specifically designed to provide optimal foot protection during crack climbing. The PAF System heel construction improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon.

Tri-Tension system
The Tri-Tension system provides full support for prolonged use on small footholds, transferring force from the heel to the toe without compromising the flexibility needed for smearing.

Vibram® XS Edge outsole and Flexan Dynamic midsole
The full-length 4 mm Vibram® XS Edge outsole ensures high stability on small edges. The 1.4 mm Flexan Dynamic midsole runs the full length of the foot for excellent support.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• PAF System: Heel construction method that improves force distribution and reduces pressure on the Achilles tendon via a softer rubber "bridge" connecting the two sides of the tension system.
• Tri-Tension: Provides full support for prolonged use on small footholds without compromising the flexibility needed for smearing.
• Flexan Dynamic midsole: 1.4 mm insert running the full length of the foot, offering excellent support during long sessions.
• Vibram® XS Edge: Compound developed to provide maximum support and precise weight distribution, even on the smallest holds, with high resistance to plastic deformation and reliable performance in hot and cold conditions.
• M70 Rubber: Compound developed with Davos®, rated Shore A 70 for an optimal balance between adaptability and containment; used on containment bands and targeted upper areas.
• Resoleable: Can be resoled at official Scarpa resole centres, extending the shoe's lifespan.
