The Scarpa Ladakh GTX is a rugged, protective trekking boot built for long hikes with a medium-weight backpack on rocky trails, particularly during autumn and winter. Its full-grain nubuck leather upper delivers lasting protection against abrasion and the elements, while the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane guarantees breathable waterproofing that keeps feet dry from external moisture while letting internal vapour escape.
Stability and support for demanding terrain
The boot's stiff design, combined with a secure lacing system, enhances ankle support and helps prevent rolls on uneven footholds. The tall, supportive collar holds the ankle without feeling uncomfortable, while the padded tongue and collar reduce pressure points and chafing during long days carrying a loaded pack.
Biometric midsole and Vibram TRONT outsole
The injected PU midsole, with a Biometric fly profile, delivers stability and energy return with every stride, absorbing terrain impact thanks to ACTIVimpact technology. The Vibram® outsole, featuring Scarpa's exclusive design in TRONT compound, provides reliable traction across varied trails and superior durability against prolonged wear.
Durable, resoleable construction
The full rubber protection wrapping the toe and perimeter of the boot, together with the quick-closure lacing, make the Ladakh GTX a reliable companion for long backpacking expeditions. Thanks to the Active Fit system, this boot is developed with lasts and components specific to men, and can be resoled at official Scarpa resole shops, significantly extending its usable life.
