The Scarpa ZG Trek GTX is a boot that adapts immediately to the foot, guaranteeing a snug fit thanks to four zones with different degrees of padding, ideal for moving fast on alpine routes both on and off trail. The water-resistant nubuck leather upper delivers instant comfort, while the GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane guarantees exceptional waterproofing and breathability against adverse weather conditions.
Speed Lacing closure and 3D protection
The innovative Speed Lacing system delivers a quick, secure fit, with hooks and a lace block that hold the ankle progressively and comfortably. The upper design reinforces and supports the lateral ankle area, complemented by a supportive anatomical heel for a more precise fit and containment while walking. The toe box with 3D TPU protection shields the foot from impacts and abrasion on technical terrain.
Bi-Density midsole and Salix Trek system
The Bi-Density polyurethane midsole delivers excellent cushioning, reducing weight without compromising stability with every stride. The base is built using the Salix Trek system, designed and developed by Scarpa in collaboration with Vibram®: a durable sole that adapts to various terrains, combining maximum comfort and lightness through its dual-density construction.
Vibram XS Trek EVO outsole and gender-specific fit
The Vibram® XS Trek EVO outsole ensures optimal grip on all types of terrain, from steep trails to rocky, wet surfaces. Thanks to the Active Fit System, Scarpa develops the last and construction of the ZG Trek GTX specifically for the male foot, delivering a superior level of objective, measurable comfort in every outdoor activity.
